U.S.-based adhesive manufacturer targets HVAC cabinet sealing, insulation bonding, & process efficiency with expanded portfolio of bonding and sealing solutions
COUNCIL BLUFFS, IA, UNITED STATES, October 1, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Forza Inc., a U.S.-based manufacturer of industrial adhesives, sealants, and specialty tapes, announced the expansion of its advanced HyPer Polymer® bonding and sealing product line to address the performance, safety, and production efficiency requirements of HVAC and air handling equipment manufacturing.
The expansion builds on Forza’s HyPer Polymer® MS (Modified Silane) technology platform and introduces a portfolio of products engineered for the specific chemical, thermal, and mechanical demands of HVAC cabinet assembly, insulation bonding, and sealing applications.
“Every market we go into, we start by asking what’s actually failing and why,” said Rick Glenn, Owner and General Manager of Forza Inc. “In HVAC manufacturing, we found manufacturers dealing with flammable adhesive systems creating insurance and safety exposure, slow cure times creating production bottlenecks, and sealants not holding up to thermal cycling and humidity. We built this portfolio to solve those problems specifically.”
HVAC MANUFACTURING: A DEMANDING ADHESIVE ENVIRONMENT
HVAC equipment presents distinct bonding and sealing challenges that general-purpose adhesives are not designed to address. Units operate across wide temperature ranges, experience continuous vibration, and are exposed to humidity throughout their operational lifespan. At the same time, manufacturers face regulatory limits on flammable adhesive floor inventory, fire and explosion risk from solvent-based systems, and extended cure times that compress production throughput.
Forza’s expanded HVAC portfolio addresses both product performance and production efficiency.
THE HYPER POLYMER® HVAC PRODUCT LINE
ForzaSEAL® OS2, a single-part moisture-cure hybrid polymer sealant, is formulated for cabinet sealing, panel seam sealing, and air leak prevention. It bonds to aluminum, steel, glass, wood, and most plastics, retains a strong flexible seal through impact, peel, and changing temperatures, carries a service range of -75°F to 400°F, and is immediately paintable.
ForzaBOND® OA4, a high-strength hybrid polymer structural adhesive, provides permanent flexible structural bonding for cabinet assembly, overlay bonding, and control panel attachment. With 475 PSI tensile strength, 500–600% elongation at break, and no solvents or isocyanates, OA4 is engineered to maintain bond integrity through the vibration and thermal cycling that characterize HVAC operating environments.
ForzaBOND® OA13, a high green strength mounting adhesive with a 15–20 minute skin time, is designed for applications requiring immediate grip — including insulation panel mounting and interior component fixturing on fast-moving production lines. OA13 bonds to both porous and non-porous substrates and carries a low-VOC formulation suited for enclosed manufacturing environments.
All three products are formulated using Forza’s proprietary HyPer Polymer® Modified Silane technology — solvent-free, isocyanate-free, and low VOC.
A COMPLETE HVAC PORTFOLIO
In addition to the HyPer Polymer® line, Forza offers complementary spray adhesives and specialty tapes for HVAC manufacturing. ForzaBOND® IC956 provides a non-flammable contact adhesive option for insulation bonding and large-surface coverage applications. ForzaBOND® IC946, a California-compliant low-VOC pressure-sensitive adhesive, addresses regulatory requirements for high-volume facilities. ForzaBOND® R320, a two-part modified epoxy, serves structural bonding applications requiring elevated strength. Forza’s gasketing and sealing foam tape line covers mounting, gasketing, and vibration isolation across HVAC unit assembly.
The portfolio covers four core application categories: cabinet sealing including panel seams and access doors; insulation bonding for foam, fiberglass, thermal barriers, and acoustical materials; foam tape applications for gasketing and vibration isolation; and process improvements including fastener reduction and improved production consistency.
PRODUCTION EFFICIENCY AND SAFETY
Forza’s non-flammable, low-VOC formulations eliminate the regulatory inventory restrictions that force frequent material changeovers on HVAC production floors. By removing flammable adhesive canisters from the production environment, manufacturers can stage more material at the point of use, reducing operator downtime without increasing equipment costs.
“Faster application plus quicker cure equals higher throughput with the same labor footprint,” Glenn said. “For an HVAC manufacturer running high volumes, that math adds up quickly.”
DOMESTIC MANUFACTURING AND IN-HOUSE R&D
All Forza adhesives and sealants are manufactured in the United States, with formulation and testing conducted through Forza’s in-house R&D laboratory — allowing the company to customize cure speeds, adhesion profiles, and viscosity for OEM-specific production requirements.
“The HVAC industry has specific needs that off-the-shelf adhesives from large suppliers don’t address,” said Mike Glenn, Founder and Senior Technical Director. “Our in-house R&D capability means we can develop and optimize chemistry for a specific application — the substrate, the cure window, the production environment — and do it fast.”
Forza’s domestic manufacturing also supports supply chain reliability for HVAC OEMs on tight production schedules, eliminating overseas sourcing delays and tariff exposure.
