The Window Source of Houston Named 2026 Best of Texas Award Winner

TOMBALL, TX, UNITED STATES, October 8, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — The Window Source of Houston, a veteran-owned window and door replacement company serving the greater Houston area, has been named a 2026 Best of Texas Award winner. The recognition honors the team’s work outfitting homes across Harris, Fort Bend, Galveston, and Montgomery counties with custom replacement windows and doors.

Founded by Marine Corps veteran David Mallette, the company built its process around free in-home consultations rather than high-pressure sales tactics, giving homeowners time to weigh energy efficiency, style, and long-term value before committing to a project. Every replacement window and door is custom-built to fit its opening precisely, and each purchase is backed by a lifetime warranty that protects both the original buyer and any future homeowner. The process moves through four clear steps, from consultation to ordering, scheduling, and installation, so homeowners always know what comes next.

That structure traces back to values Mallette carried out of the Marines: honor, courage, and commitment. The company applies those principles to every stage of a project, from an honest estimate through installation, and extends a discount to active-duty service members and veterans as a way of supporting the military community it grew out of. With more than twenty-five years of combined industry experience, the team has become a trusted resource for homeowners navigating everything window and door replacement.

“We built this company on the same code we lived by in the Marines: honor, courage, and commitment,” said David Mallette, founder of The Window Source of Houston. “Being named a 2026 Best of Texas Award winner means our neighbors see that code coming through in the work, and that means everything to us.”

Looking ahead, The Window Source of Houston plans to expand its reach within the greater Houston region while maintaining the same custom-built approach to every replacement window and door installation. The 2026 Best of Texas Award adds fresh recognition to a company built on steady, values-driven service, and the team says the honor will only sharpen its focus on treating every home in the region like its own.
