Solink®, a leader in AI Vision Intelligence, today announced more than $100 million in new funding led by Vertu Capital, with material participation from existing investor Growth Equity at Goldman Sachs Alternatives and participation from new investors, Golub Growth and Comcast Ventures. The investment will accelerate Solink’s expansion into AI Vision Intelligence, bringing AI-powered insights to businesses’ physical operations and defining what the company believes will be the next trillion-dollar software category. The investment will fund the company’s aggressive AI roadmap and accelerate growth through strategic opportunities, while maintaining the highest standards of service excellence for customers.
Solink’s AI Vision Intelligence platform transforms how businesses understand and manage their physical operations by turning existing cameras into real-time sources of business intelligence. The company now has more than 35,000 customer locations in 65 countries using its platform. Across retail locations, restaurants, warehouses, and other physical environments, Solink converts video into actionable data – proactively surfacing what matters to drive revenue, reduce loss, and improve safety.
“We’re entering a watershed moment for how physical businesses operate, as AI Vision Intelligence brings the richness and immediacy of digital data into the physical world,” said Mike Matta, Co-Founder and CEO of Solink. “Our vision is a world where businesses no longer need to see what’s taking place in order to understand what’s happening. Solink gives businesses the ability to see more, know more, and do more faster, using the cameras they already have – from readiness and safety, to merchandising and operations. With this new funding, we’re excited to lead the evolution of physical operations and help businesses reduce loss, improve performance, and uncover new revenue opportunities.”
“AI vision intelligence represents one of the most significant opportunities in software today.” said Eric Kafka, Partner, Vertu Capital. “Solink has demonstrated the foresight and execution required to define this emerging category and built a trusted platform that helps businesses unlock operational value from the infrastructure they already have.”
Goldman Sachs Alternatives’ confidence in Solink’s execution, customer momentum, and strong market position in AI vision intelligence drove its decision to reinvest in the company.
“Since our initial investment, Solink has consistently demonstrated its ability to execute while expanding its market opportunity,” said Mike Reilly, Managing Director within Growth Equity at Goldman Sachs Alternatives. “Strong customer adoption and an ambitious product vision made participating in this round a natural decision. We believe Solink is well positioned to be a leader in this new era of AI vision intelligence.”
